• Disable AutoRun:
  1. Run nodrivetypeautorun.reg
  2. Click Yes when prompted to add the information to the registry
• Disable Recent Documents History:
  1. Run norecentdocshistory.reg
  2. Click Yes when prompted to add the information to the registry
• Disable Recycle Bin & remove its icon from desktop
 Windows XP x86
  1. Run disable_recycle_bin_x86.reg
  2. Click Yes when prompted to add the information to the registry
 Windows XP x64 (Disable it for 32-bit & 64-bit applications)
  1. Run disable_recycle_bin_x64.reg
  2. Click Yes when prompted to add the information to the registry
• Prevent Windows from storing information about files that you use:
  1. Run userassist_nolog.reg
  2. Click Yes when prompted to add the information to the registry
• Adobe Acrobat 8:
 Prevent AcrobatInfo.exe from starting whenever a .pdf file is selected:
  1. Run disable_acrobatinfo.reg
  2. Click Yes when prompted to add the information to the registry
  3. Run unregister_pdfshell.bat
  4. Click OK
 Disable the context menu:
  1. Run disable_acrobat_contextmenu.reg
  2. Click Yes when prompted to add the information to the registry
  3. Run unregister_contextmenu.bat
  4. Click OK
• WinRAR:
 Associate .001 files (add context menu to .001 files):
  1. Open WinRAR
  2. Press CTRL+S
  3. Click on the Integration tab
  4. Type 001 under User defined archive extensions
  5. Click OK
  6. Close WinRAR
 Add WinRAR file associations (fix icons) for .001 - .099 & .r30 - .r99:
  1. Run winrar_associations.bat
